Orings are universal sealing elements used to seal against liquid or gaseous median. They are suitable for static and minor dynamic applications. Orings can be used for radial and axial sealing. The sealing occurs during installation by the radial or axial compression of the crosssection. During operation, the median pressure increases the deformation of the Oring and so increases the sealing effectiveness. For best sealing effectiveness, the Oring should have the largest possible crosssection. During installation the correct groove size, compaction, elongation/compression should be ensured. By static use the compaction should be 15 30% of the crosssection. By dynamic use it should be 10 18% (hydraulic), 4 12% (pneumatic). Les joints toriques sont des éléments d'étanchéité assurant une étanchéité aux milieux liquides et gazeux. Ils conviennent pour une utilisation statique et dynamique secondaire. Les joints toriques peuvent être intégrés de façon étanche radialement ou axialement. L'étanchéité est créée lors du montage par compression axiale ou radiale de la section. En état de fonctionnement, la pression du fluide augmente la déformation du joint torique et renforce donc la fonction d'étanchéité. Pour une étanchéité optimale, choisir des joints toriques avec le diamètre de tore le plus élevé possible. Dans l'espace de montage, accorder une attention particulière aux éléments suivants remplissage de la rainure, précompression, allongement et tassement. Lors d'une utilisation statique, la précompression devrait être située entre 15 et 30 % du diamètre de tore.
